All Saints Cross Making

All Saints Day is a major feast of the church year and the day that we recall that saints of God---past, present and future.  We will celebrate the feast of All Saints on November 5th,  on that day we recall that company of heaven---friends and family whom we love, but see no longer.   We have a procession of small crosses that bears the names of the saints in our lives that have died in the last year.

On Wednesday evening, October 18th, we will gather to 'decorate' those crosses.  Crosses will be pre-cut and the name of each person will be glued to the cross.  Families and friends will gather to decorate the crosses with symbols, photos and words that represent these particular saints of our lives.  On November 5th, each cross will be processed by a friend /family member into the church and placed in a stand at the altar.

If you would like to remember a family member who died between Oct. 1st, 2016 and 2017, call Kathryn Dorlon at the church office at 967-8786, or email her at
