Christian Formation for children and youth is on summer hiatus. Classes resume September 11th.
Club 56 is a Wednesday night ministry for 5th and 6th graders that meets from 6:30 to 7:30 every week in Carpenter Hall. We also meet every Sunday morning for Sunday School at 10:05 in Carpenter Hall. We integrate lessons about what it means to be an Episcopalian with games, skits, and art projects. In the past, we have played Advent jeopardy, made spiced tea and cookies, built sanctuary lanterns and forts, and competed in football “frogger”.
We participate in outreach projects like preparing Haiti Boxes, visiting Columbia Cottage, and learning about St. Stephen’s mission in Honduras. We also have outing adventures like going ice skating at the Pelham Civic Complex.
We encourage the 5th and 6th graders to become active youth members not only of St. Stephen’s, but of the Episcopal Diocese by keeping them in the loop about events at Camp McDowell.
