Volunteer Opportunity at Carpenter House

 Call for Volunteers

Got some spare time?  Enjoy meeting people and serving the Church?  Have some office skills going to waste? Have transportation downtown?

Carpenter’s Helpers are volunteers serving at Carpenter House, the Diocesan office in downtown Birmingham.  Their service includes greeting and welcoming those attending meetings or arriving for appointments; answering the phone and directing calls within the office; assisting with the preparation of mailings and publications; and sharing in the ebb and flow of work within the Bishop’s office.

If you think you might have up to 6 hours, one day a week (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) that you could devote to this ministry please contact the Rev. Rob Morpeth at for more information and an application.

Carpenter’s Helpers make it possible for contributed funds to be devoted more fully to serving the parishes and people of the Diocese of Alabama.
