Children’s Chapel
Nursery is available during our
9:00, 11:15 a.m., and 5 p.m. services and at 10:15 a.m. during the summer.
Nursery
Two and three year olds will learn about God’s love for them through Bible stories, songs, art and play.
Two & Three Year Old Class
This class uses the Godly Play approach to explore faith. Godly Play is based on Montessori principles and uses both wonder and play to enhance a child's spiritual experience. Your children will become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence in their lives.
4K and Kindergarten
First through fourth graders will explore the Bible and their relationship with God by rotating through hands-on learning stations. Learning stations include: art, Bible games, Godly Play, cooking and theater.
1st-4th Grades
Fifth and sixth graders will revisit the Bible's greatest stories, investigate major biblical themes and discover how the Bible relates to their own lives. This class uses a creative and Bible-centered curriculum developed especially for this age group to get to know God and each other better.
5th & 6th Graders
Come make a joyful noise unto the Lord! All children in 4K preschool through 6th grade are members of our Children’s Choir. Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings at the beginning of Children’s Formation. We will learn hymns and anthems related to our current formation themes and present our offerings in worship. There will also be opportunities each year to sing with the Adult Choir. Please contact Whitney Page for more information.
Children's Choir
In Music Makers! children in 1st through 6th grades will take the music we’re working on in Children’s Choir a step farther by learning vocal solos, additional vocal parts, and handbell/percussion accompaniments for upcoming worship offerings. Music Makers! meets on Sundays from 12:45-1:30 during the school year. Please contact Whitney Page for more information.
