This annual gathering at Camp McDowell is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and renewal with your fellow Men of Saint Stephen’s. Come enjoy the fellowship in Parsley Commons at Camp McDowell March 15-17, 2019. You may arrive any time after 2pm on Friday, and stay until mid-day Sunday. We will prepare our own dinner Friday and Saturday (a volunteer for each night to plan and cook is needed, and lots of help will be available), with the rest of the meals available at Doug Carpenter Hall. Compline services typically follow dinner, and we we will have a celebration of Holy Eucharist on Sunday.
Andrew Shea and Tom Brown will join us after breakfast Saturday morning to share the roles the Farm School and renewable energy play at camp. There will be plenty of time for hiking, outdoor games, or sitting by the fire and reading.
Dinners provided by the men and Doug Carpenter Hall meals are $8 each. The rooms in Parsley Commons can be reserved as double ($65 per night) or single ($115 per night) occupancy. Each room has two double beds.
Please register through Signup Genius or download this form here and send in with a check to the Church office by March 8th. Checks should be made payable to St. Stephen’s with “MOSS Weekend” written on the memo line. We will collect any outstanding balance at the end of the weekend. Contact Wes Pierce (mwp77@outlook.com) or Tom Robertshaw (dosomething@bellsouth.net) with any questions.
