2020 St. Stephen’s Women’s Weekend 

At CAMP MCDOWELL

January 24-26, 2020 

You are invited to join the women of St. Stephen’s at our annual Women’s Weekend at Camp McDowell January 24-26, 2020.  We’re calling our weekend this year Body and Soul!

We will gather at Bethany Village beginning on Friday afternoon, January 24, and depart after Eucharist and Morning Prayer on Sunday, January 26.

We are so excited to have local artist and gallery owner Shannon Harris join us for our Saturday morning program where she will share her story of art and spirituality. Her gallery is called Grace, as a hint.

In the afternoon, our friend and Yoga professional Catherine Meehan will provide a meditative and spiritual experience with movement and yoga.  Many of us have attended her classes and know that you are in for a special treat. 

Saturday evening, before our traditional Soup Supper, Diane Hightower will lead us in a fun activity. After supper, Sarah Macon will host our “Favorite Things” gift swap. 

Sunday morning, we will offer Morning Prayer and Eucharist before we head home.

This weekend is for ALL women of St. Stephen’s but space is limited so please register as soon as you can to secure your room.

In an effort to keep the cost of the weekend down, we have again opted to bring our meals.  Supper on Saturday evening will be provided.  But bring all other meals, snacks, and beverages.  There will be plenty of time to chat, rock, (rock and chat), hike, nap, and other relaxing forms of recreation.  

Costs:

There is a $10 per person activity fee charge for the weekend. Please make sure you select this option when signing up for the weekend.

The rooms in Bethany Lodge can be reserved as indicated below. Each room has two double beds. There is a community kitchen in each cabin. We do not assign roommates. 

Single occupancy:              $118 per night

Double occupancy:            $ 67 per person per night

Triple occupancy:              $ 50 per person per night

Quadruple occupancy:      $ 40 per person per night
