In talking with people about grief, and having also weathered it, we learn that grief is an oddly shaped blanket that we drag around. Other aspects of life get trapped in it...and sometimes we get lost in the folds of that absorbent fabric. Some people push away grieving and sink themselves into other tasks of life. Others confront grief head-on, but do not quite know what to do. It is helpful to walk through loss and grief with others, as those heavy feelings can be isolating and exhausting to experience.
Come join others at Saint Stephen’s who have experienced a change or loss – of a loved one, a job, a relationship. We will gather to pray, share, reflect, and learn in a small group setting. If you have questions, please contact the Rev. Katherine Harper at katherine@ssechurch.org.
