Saint Stephen's Preschool Kicks off Annual Christmas Food Drive
Our preschool is kicking off our annual food drive this week! We will be collecting food items for 8 families in the Cahaba Heights area for Christmas. Below is a list of suggested items.
Please bring items to the lower lobby near the elevator. We will use some of the ingredients to make casseroles for a homemade Christmas dinner for each family. Sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, corn casserole, dressing, pies, and macaroni and cheese.
If you would rather send a check or cash as a donation that would be wonderful too! We’ll need to purchase a few perishable items to prepare the casseroles. We’ll also purchase a turkey or ham, apples, oranges, and bread for each family. Checks can be made out to: Saint Stephen’s Preschool and dropped off in the church office or in the offering plate marked “Preschool Food Drive”.
We will deliver the boxes on Thursday, December 13.
All of our preschool children are going to help out with this project! The babies, creepers, and toddlers will decorate the food boxes. The 4’s and 5’s will help sort the food. The 2’s, 3’s, 4’, and 5’s will help put all the items in the boxes.
Thank you,
Leslie Dunlap, Preschool Director
