Women's Retreat: A Time to Reconnect and Recharge

You are invited to join the women of St. Stephen’s at our annual Women’s Weekend at Camp McDowell during the weekend of January 28-30, 2022.

Our theme is Joy!

We are very excited that Melinda Rainey Thompson, a long-time parishioner and member of the choir at Saint Stephen’s, will be our Saturday morning program speaker. Melinda is a wife, mother, lecturer at Birmingham-Southern, and a writer of Southern humor with five books published so far! Laughter and truth about our lives will be shared during Melinda’s session. 

Saturday afternoon will bring yoga, hiking, games, or whatever you would like to do at camp!! (Doing nothing is fine living at Camp!!)  In the evening, we are going to have our soup supper and a fun evening with Diane Hightower. Sunday morning, we will gather for a Sunday Eucharist and then head home in the afternoon.

The weekend is super casual! But we all love gathering and getting to rest in Wonderful, Wonderful Camp McDowell. It is our joyful place. Please join us.
